Chairman: Chet Masserano


Chet Masserano, Founder and President of Corporate Real Estate Brokers, Inc. (www.LeaseOrBuySpace.com) since 1990, has over 32 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He has a BA in Business and Real Estate from Memphis State University (1985). Chet serves on three Boards: International Ministerial Fellowship (imfserves.church), Christian Community Golf Association (ccga.org) and SPEDCO (spedco.com). Chet is happily married to Kim with two children, Ches and Alexa, and resides in Plymouth, MN.

 

President: Pastor John Braland

John grew up in Burnsville and joined the United States Air Force after high school. He became a Christian in his twenties while stationed in Bitburg Germany and working as an undercover narcotics agent with the Office of Special Investigations for the Air Force. After being honorably discharged he attended Crown College, where he met Kathi and married her even though she is an avid Packers fan. They live about 30 miles west of Minneapolis in Watertown, MN and have three awesome children: Josh, Sara, and Katie.

John enjoys riding his Harley and snowmobile, playing hockey, and mentoring other leaders. Kathi enjoys entertaining guests and playing volleyball. Both of them enjoy spending time with their children, dining with friends and traveling.

John has a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Crown College and a Doctorate of Ministry in Executive Leadership for Larger Organizations from Bethel University. He is ordained with the Christian Missionary Alliance and with International Ministerial Fellowship. John is the Lead Pastor at Freshwater Community Church in St. Bonifacius and Waconia, MN.

 

Treasurer: Fred Stelter

Fred Stelter has served on the IMF Board for over 15 years. He formerly served as a bank president.

Fred has served in various leadership positions in his home church, Vision of Glory Lutheran in Plymouth, MN. He also has written and teaches a class on biblical principles of handling money entitled “Where Your Treasure Is.” Fred is married to Lynda and has three children.

 

Secretary: Dr. Wyatt McDowell

Dr. Wyatt McDowell is a retired former Associate Professor of Law and Taxation at the University of Louisville. He received his B.A. degree from Wilberforce University, Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University, and Master's Degree in Law from the Capital University Law and Graduate Center, and is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School. Dr. McDowell is a consultant to numerous pastors, churches and religious organizations across the country. He also was formerly an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Institute of Church Administration and Management at The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA, and also at the School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA.

Since his retirement from the University of Louisville, he continues to be actively involved in providing legal and tax assistance to churches and para-church organizations through his consulting firm of National Church and Clergy Management Assistance Corporation (clergyzoom.com).

He has authored and/or co-authored nine (9) books and over forty-five (45) published articles related to the Christian community and has several church related writing projects underway at the present time.

 

General Overseer: Pastor Chasz Parker

Chasz serves as IMF’s General Overseer and has been a member of IMF since 1986. He has two passions: seeing people find hope and life change through programs and ministry that embody the love of Christ, and developing and supporting Christian leaders in the church and para-church ministries. For the nearly 3 decades, he was involved with churches and ministries that serve the poor, homeless, and at-risk populations, first in Tampa, FL (Metropolitan Ministries) then in Syracuse, NY (Rescue Mission), lately Lancaster, PA (Water Street Ministries) and Christian Community Action in Lewisville, TX. Chasz is a regular presenter at the Association of Gospel Rescue Mission conventions, was an adjunct faculty member at Davis College, has published articles and been a board member at his church. Chasz has a Master of Divinity degree from Oral Roberts University.

Chasz and his wife Christa have five children.

 

Founding Pastor: Pastor Frank Masserano

Pastor Masserano is a graduate of Memphis State University, Asbury Theological Seminary and Princeton Theological Seminary. He has done additional graduate study at the University of Minnesota. He has served as a pastor, counselor and development officer. He was Director of Special Projects at Oral Roberts University in the Development Department in the areas of foundations and government grants and for a number of years an owner and officer in several business ventures.

 

Pastor Ryan Alonso

Ryan Alonso is the Lead Pastor of Central Life Church, a growing church with multiple locations in Brevard County, FL. God has given him a vision to plant healthy churches throughout the Space Coast of Florida in an effort to lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus.

Ryan attended Liberty University while beginning his pastoral ministry at Central Life. He has served in the local church for 15 years as a Youth Pastor and Executive Pastor before taking his current role as Lead Pastor. He and his wife Amanda, along with their two children, live passionately for the health and growth of the local church

 

Pastor Robert Cottingham

Pastor Bob Cottingham grew up in Austin, MN in a poor family that was unchurched. He left Austin to join the Army. During his time in the Army he was soldier of the year, attended Airborne school and Ranger training, and was a member of Search & Rescue in Cuba and Vietnam. Prior to his call to Christian ministry, Bob was a successful business owner.

Bob graduated from Luther Seminary and was called as an evangelist to Niger and Senegal in West Africa. He then became pastor at Lutheran Church of the Master where he raised attendance from 400 to 1,000. He was then called to be Senior Pastor at North Heights Lutheran Church (8,000 members). Bob retired from full- time ministry January 31, 2010 and is enjoying his retirement with his wife Sandi, three children and five grandchildren.

 

Pastor William Goodwin

Pastor Bill Goodwin serves as lead pastor at Lighthouse Christian in Rosemount, MN. Prior to coming to Lighthouse in 2004, he served on staff at Community Church of Joy in Glendale, AZ and Hosanna! in Lakeville, MN.

Bill has been involved with IMF since 2002. He and his wife, Karla, have two adult children and two grandsons.

 

Pastor Brian Lother

Rev. Brian Lother, Pastor and founder of Hope Community Church of Corcoran, MN, was born into a minister’s family and raised in a church parsonage. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in piano performance. He studied under the tutorship of Professor Duncan McNab and graduated with honors.

Brian felt a call from God for Pastoring and pursued his theological training in preparing for ministry service. He received his Diploma of Pastoral Theology from Calvary Bible College. As part of his ministerial training, he also went through a master’s program at the University of Minnesota in Speech and Rhetoric.

Pastor Brian served over 20 years in various ministerial positions at Soul’s Harbor/Calvary Temple before being asked to plant a new church in the West Metro area, which is now Hope Community Church.

For over 30 years he and his wife, Jacque, have ministered in music in many different venues. His recent CD releases, “The Journey” and “Love’s Calling” of piano/keyboard and Irish whistle recorded with his youngest son, Micah, has received international acclaim.

Although he serves as Senior Pastor, Brian also leads worship as the Chief Musician of Hope Community Church. He is married to Jacque and they have two sons, B.J., (married to Jessica) and Micah (married to Katie), who all serve in various ministry capacities at Hope.

 

Kristi Moss

Kristi Moss has been actively associated with IMF for more than a decade, currently serving on the Board of Directors. She is an attorney and has worked mainly in civil litigation with Kimerer and LaVelle in Phoenix, AZ; Davis-Williams & Co., L.P.A. in Cleveland, OH and as law clerk for the Honorable Catherine Anderson of Hennepin County District Court. Kristi holds a J.D. from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, a Post-Baccalaureate in Elementary Education and a B.S. in Theatre from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Kristi has served on the Board of Directors of organizations other than IMF including Theatre Mu in Minneapolis, MN and Socios with Mayo Clinic Arizona. She lives in Paradise Valley, AZ with her husband Adyr Moss, M.D. and their three children Gabriela, Karolina and Mateo.

 

Robert Rampi

Robert (Bob) Rampi, CPA, is the Founder and President of Robert Rampi, Ltd., a CPA firm specializing in churches, ministries and small business. He has been a tax accountant for over 36 years, is an ordained minister with IAM, and currently attends Encounter Fellowship. Bob is the Founder and President of Isaiah 61 Ministries. Isaiah 61 Ministries provides teaching and freedom in Christ through prayer with extensive short-term mission work in Honduras, Philippines and India. Bob is married to Susan and they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.

 

Pastor Gary Schippling

Pastor Gary Schippling is a Detroit area native. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including a tour in Viet Nam; and then attended Henry Ford College and the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Lincoln Park Ministerial Association and the Rotary Club and serves as the Chaplain for the Exchange Club. Much of Pastor Gary's working life was spent in supervisory and management positions within the automotive support industry.

Just after his fiftieth birthday, Pastor Gary made the decision to answer God’s call on his life, and God profoundly confirmed that call through a series of incidents in Gary’s life. Gary received further ministerial training and ordination through United Christian Faith Ministries, Francis Frangipane’s “In Christ’s Image Training,” and other course work.

Pastor Gary is all about “keeping the main thing the main thing.” Now the senior pastor at Blessed Hope Christian Church, which he and his wife Crystal founded, he is committed to following God’s will in creating a fellowship of believers rooted and grounded in Scripture while serving each other and the community. Outreach is a key feature. “Let my life show my calling,” he says. “It is amazing what God can do with a person, even with someone like me,” he says. “Our age, our physical health, or our economic standing does not impede God. If He calls you, go.”
