The role of the Executive Pastor (XP) is to partner with the Elders and Pastors to ensure the systems, practices, policies, and strategic ministry objectives of the church are effectively and efficiently achieved. The XP supports and equips the staff and ministry leaders, aligning them with the GCC mission and ministry efforts. The XP reports to the Lead Pastor, working closely with him to manage the staff and provide oversight of the ministry teams of the church. This requires a firm understanding of, and agreement with, GCC’s mission, statement of faith, and core values.Affiliation: Fellowship of Evangelical Churches (FEC).
HOURS: Full-Time/Salaried/Exempt/Pastoral Staff
PURPOSE: The Senior Pastor is God’s called and gifted leader and advocate for Riverwood’s vision and mission for the purposes of leading, modeling, and teaching God’s ways.
A volunteer position looking for possible 20 hours a month.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A broad understand of religious traditions
Excellent interpersonal skills, empathic listening, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regular one to one visits with pastoral and spiritual presence.
Provide group activities to independent, assisted and memory care residents such as communion & church service, prayer service, bible study, Chaplain chats and memorial service.

We are searching for a man, called by God, to pastor our church. He will serve the church by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and feeding the church a steady diet of biblical teaching. He will need skills in administrative leadership and a heart for engaging in pastoral care ministries to meet the needs of persons in the church and in the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Set as a guideline of personal behavior the standard required in I Timothy 3:1-7 and I Peter 5:1-4.
-Prepare and preach sermons based on the Word of God, every Sunday.
-Teach confirmation class to young church members (two 9 month periods starting at 12 years old).
-Administer the sacrament of Holy communion.
-Perform weddings, funerals, dedication of children, baptisms.
– Lead the prayer service/bible study on Wednesdays
-Attending monthly church board meetings chaired by the head elder.
-Serve as a permanent member of the Missions Committee.
-Producing a weekly program for our First Light Radio Broadcast.
-Supervise and advise other members of the church staff according to staff organization.
-Plan and promote evangelistic ministries for the unsaved and renewal for the Christians.
-Provide administrative leadership for the total church program.
-Visit the sick and minister to members in times of crisis.
-Other assigned duties
REQUIREMENTS:
Salary range: $401< to $50k
Vacation: Starting at 2Wks /Yr
Medical allowance: $500 to 1K/MO
Housing allowance: $500 to $1000 monthly

The incumbent develops plans in consultation with the Fishing For Life Director of Marketing and Communication and the COO to market all programs offered on a year-round basis. The Program Coordinator also ensures the highest quality in programs for all activities and communications. The Program Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising, and developing team members and volunteers, implementing positive progressive programming and ministry. This position ensures a safe environment where facilities and equipment are maintained.
